Employers can claim up to two weeks of SSP per employee. SSP is currently £96.35 per week. Self-employed people are not eligible for SSP, although casual or agency workers are. Employers will be able to file claims beginning mid-January 2022, and they will be able to do so retrospectively. Check if you can claim here.
