Making Tax Digital
From 1 April 2019 it will be a legal requirement for all VAT registered businesses with a turnover over £85,000 to keep digital records for VAT purposes and provide VAT return information to HMRC using functional compatible software. If you are affected it means you need to act now and look to move your books/records into an electronic form ahead of the 2019 start date. If you don’t act HMRC will look to hand out penalties and fines. The team at Wright Vigar will make sense of what this means for you and ensure you remain compliant with HMRC legislation.
