Some businesses appear to be taking advantage of tax relief payments given to employees forced to work from home due to the pandemic. According to some of the agents’ websites, applicants may be eligible for hundreds of pounds in rebates if they file a claim with them. People may, however, be signing away their rights to up to 50% of any refunds owed from the previous tax year, as well as any backdated claims for the previous four years. We would like to remind you not to share your Government Gateway username and password details with anyone – including any companies offering to make tax relief claims on your behalf.
