Charitable Collection #SockAmnesty

Due to its success last year, we have decided the #SockAmnesty has the legs to run again! (Pardon the pun).

We will be launching this initiative at the Lincolnshire Business Expo on Wednesday 15 Jan and it will run until the end of Q1 but donations will be welcomed all year round.

Socks are an item that are rarely donated to those in need and with them tending to walk further than the average person they get dirty very quickly. With no luxury of a fresh pair, serious foot health issue can occur for something as simple as a pair of socks. That’s why we are running this initiative and are asking for your support.

If you (and any friends / family) have any unworn or ‘lightly used, freshly laundered’ socks that you would like to donate to a good cause then please bring them in. We will be taking the Giant green Croc to the Expo next Wednesday and will be making some positive noise about this on social media.

We have also been guided by the YMCA that any gentleman’s footwear and toiletries (specifically deodorant, shower gel, shaving foam and razors) would be useful.
