Bailiffs in England were asked not to carry out an eviction if anyone living in the property has COVID-19 symptoms or was self-isolating. Eviction notice periods were also extended to 6 months as an emergency measure. However, this will be reduced to 4 months from 1 June and if restrictions ease as planned, will return to pre-pandemic timeframes from 1 October. This is around 2 months in England.
