Employers will be notified when a file has been rejected with a message stating the claim has not been accepted and will not continue. To avoid this happening we advise using the template from HMRC when you are making a claim for 100 or more employees. Files will be rejected due to: an incorrect file type too many columns or sheets too few columns.
