If you are in employment, you should contact your employer and discuss the options available during your period of isolation, such as working from home. For every day a worker is in isolation they are eligible for Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) as long as they meet the eligibility conditions. See the guidance on the NHS test and trace service for employers, businesses and workers. If you are told to self-isolate, you can use the notification from the NHS test and trace service as evidence. The full overview of the NHS test and trace service can be found here.
