Retail, hospitality, and leisure businesses are to receive one-off top-up grants worth up to £9,000 per property to help them through the Spring and a further £594 million discretionary fund will also be made available to support other impacted businesses. Local authorities will also be given a further discretionary funding of £1.1 billion for the Local Restrictions Support Grants which are worth up to £3,000 a month. The grants are to be provided on a per-property basis to support businesses through the latest restrictions and the one-off top-up grants will be available to closed businesses as follows: £4,000 for businesses with a rateable value of £15,000 or under £6,000 for businesses with a rateable value between £15,000 and £51,000 £9,000 for businesses with a rateable value of over £51,000 These grants will be administered through local authorities so please refer to their individual pages to find out more information on how you can access the funding.
