Design Foundations 2022 competition

The Design Foundations July 2022 funding competition has been launched by Innovate UK, a division of UK Research and Innovation. This will contribute up to £2 million to early-stage innovation projects that make use of knowledge and design methods that put people and the environment first.

The competition aims to assist businesses in creating fresh concepts that will benefit both people and the environment and are in line with the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN. These could be for brand-new or vastly enhanced goods, services, locations, or business models.

The competition is open to qualified organisations that want to test and enhance their early-stage ideas’ benefits to customers, society, and the environment, as well as come up with new ones.

Organisations that have not previously used people- and planet-centered design processes or expertise are encouraged to apply. The contest expires on August 31, 2022.
