Employers can reclaim up to two weeks’ SSP they paid to their employees, based on the standard weekly rate of £96.35, for any qualifying periods of coronavirus-related sickness. This marks the start of a new claims period. You can only file a claim if you were off on or after December 21, 2021. The maximum number of employees for which you can file a claim is the total number of employees you had across all of your PAYE schemes on November 30, 2021.
