The events were held on 7 June at Market Rasen Golf Club, supporting St Barnabas Hospice, and on 14 June at Radcliffe on Trent Golf Club, benefiting the Nottinghamshire Hospice. The Golf Days brought together local businesses and clients for a day of friendly competition and fundraising. Throughout the day, participants enjoyed an exciting round of golf, engaging in friendly competition and networking opportunities. The event was further enhanced by a range of activities, including straightest drive, nearest the pin and other on-course challenges providing ample opportunities for individuals and businesses to donate and support the cause. In their first year of entering, Manor Farm Bloodstock emerged as the winners at the Lincoln golf day, taking home the trophy and some well earnt vouchers for the club shop. In Nottingham it was the familiar faces of Fosse Contracts that took home the win, ending on a fantastic score of net 55, 15 under par. Both events were part of Wright Vigar’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and charitable causes. The golf days not only aimed to raise funds but also brought together clients, partners, and members of the community for a day of fun. “Our charity golf days were a great opportunity to connect with our community and support these incredible hospices. We are proud of the generosity shown by all participants and look forward to continuing this tradition in the coming years,” said Tom Maxwell, Marketing Manager at Wright Vigar. “We would like to thank both Market Rasen Golf Club and Radcliffe On Trent for hosting us, without the hard work of their teams these events could not be such a success.” Given the success of this year’s events, Wright Vigar plans to continue to host these charity golf days annually, with the goal of further supporting local charities and fostering community spirit. Dates and details for next year’s events will be announced in due course. For more information or to get involved in next year’s events, please contact events@wrightvigar.co.uk.
